PURPOSE:To provide the subject film composed of a thermoplastic polyurethane resin having a specific heat of crystal fusion, exhibiting specific physical properties and excellent mechanical strength balanced in longitudinal and lateral directions and having excellent handleability. CONSTITUTION:The objective film is composed of a thermoplastic polyurethane resin having a heat of crystal fusion of 0.1-3Cal/g. The orientation degrees Px and Py of the film determined from Young's moduli satisfy the formulas 30<=Px+Py<=120 and 0.5<=Px/Py<=2 (unit of Px and Py is %), the static frictional coefficient is 0.1-0.95 and a heat-shrinkage in 100 deg.C hot water is <=30%. The film can be produced, e.g., by an inflation process to inflate a tubular film produced by extruding the above thermoplastic polyurethane resin. |
