PURPOSE:To detect the electrical leakage of a Faraday system and defects of a current integrator itself by outputting an electrical leakage detecting signal when the arithmetical value of the difference between the current of a current source and the increment of the current in the current integrator exceeds a reference value. CONSTITUTION:A control device 4 has an arithmetical unit of the difference between the output current of a current source 3 and the increment of the current in a current integrator 2 when a switch 5 is made on and a comparison unit which outputs an electrical leakage detecting signal when the arithmetical value of the said arithmetical unit exceeds a reference value. As the output current IS of the current source 3 is constant, when the leakage current IL of a Faraday system 1 is increased the increment (IC-IB) is decreased. Then the difference between the increment and the output current IS is increased. And when the difference exceeds a reference value, an electrical leakage detecting signal is outputted from the comparison unit.
