<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the fusion trouble of a trap by controlling a heating means so that the trap inlet temperature is set within a prescribed range, before exhaust gas is introduced after the start of the recombustion process for the trap. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 6 is installed on the inlet side of a trap 1. When a recombustion in the trap 1 is started, bypass valve 9 is opened, and an inlet valve 7 is closed and an electric heater 4 is brought into electric conduction. After the heater 4 is controlled so that the inlet temperature of the trap 1 becomes within a prescribed range, the inlet valve 7 is opened by a prescribed opening degree. Therefore, the fusion trouble of the trap can be prevented.</p> |
