<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a recording of a high image quality on a recording paper sized with a neutral size without forming stains due to unfixed ink on the paper by using an ink containing a specified solvent. CONSTITUTION:In forming a recording on a recording medium sized with a neutral size by ink jet printing, a mixture of 0.1-15wt.% at least either of a morpholine derivative of formula I (wherein R1-4 and R6-9 are each H, CH3 or C2H5, R5 is CH3, C2H5, an amino-substituted alkyl, a hydroxyl-substituted alkyl, and n is 1-20), e.g., N-(2-aminoethyl)morpholine, and an aminoalcohol of the formula: R1-NH-(CH2CH2O)n-H (wherein R1 is a 18-20C alkyl, and n is 1-20) with 65-35wt.% water is used as the ink. This ink can be matched very well with general-purpose paper sized with a neutral size and can give a dot of a high sphericity.</p> |
