PURPOSE:To efficiently execute battery saving by operating a switching means for a prescribed time when it is discriminated that a moving body communication device is out of the service area of a base station and executing control so as to switch the turning-on and off of a power source in the control system, audible tone input and output system and transmitting and receiving system of the moving body communication device. CONSTITUTION:In a portable radio 100, a switch 192 is provided to a power source line 191 of a power source control part 109. For the switch 192, the changing-over of the turning-on and off is executed by a switch changing-over circuit 193. A timer 194 is connected to the changing-over circuit 193 and the switching operation of the changing-over circuit 193 is executed by the timer 194. A CPU161 is connected to the changing-over circuit 193 and timer 194 by a control line 195. When the CPU161 receives a synchronization dislocating signal, which is outputted when the respective synchronization of D, P and A channels in a prescribed control signal to be outputted from the base station can not te obtained, from a control signal processing part 168, the timer 194 is operated and the switch 192 is opened by the changing-over circuit 193. |
