<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the wasteful use of printing paper by providing an unprinted page table and its updating means and storing a page which has not been printed but corrected already. CONSTITUTION:In a document file 1, document data 7 and and an unprinted page table 9 as one of attribute information 8 corresponding thereto the held. A document data correcting means 2 inputs the document data 7 and the attrib ute information 8 corresponding thereto from the document file 1 to form the corrected document data 7 based on a specified kind of correction and correction data, thereafter sending the corrected data to an unprinted page table updating means 3 at every completion of correction for one page to judge whether the corrected result is released to a change in the number of pages. In the case of no relation, a corresponding bit in the unprinted page table 9 is set to '1'; in the case of insertion, the content succeeding to a corresponding bit is shifted rightward and thereafter a bit corresponding to the page to be inserted in set to '1'; and in the case of deletion, it is shifted leftward. In this manner, a page which has not been printed but corrected already can be automatically printed, and the wasteful use of printing paper can be eliminated.</p> |
