PURPOSE:To prevent a growth of microbe in the cleaning device for condenser applied in a thermal power plant, etc. by a method wherein the pressurized clean water is fed to the passage between the first and second circulation water pipes after the cleaning balls are recovered. CONSTITUTION:After the condenser 3 is cleaned, the three-way valve 15 in the collector 12 is closed and the cleaning balls are recovered from the circulation water. Then, the first shut-off valve 17 is closed and the water feeding valve 19 is opened in response to a terminating operation of the circulation pump 9. Thereby, a large volume of condensed water pressurized with the condenser pump 22 is fed from the condensed water pipe 21 to the first circulation water pipe 10 through the communication pipe 20 and then flowed to the second circulation water pipe 14. The circulation water remaining in the passage is discharged out of the system and purged. The condensed water is contniued to be fed for a specified period of time, the water feeding valve 19 and the second shut-off valve 18 are fully closed. Thus, it is possible to prevent a growth of any microbe and also prevent an accident of closing of the passage. |
