PURPOSE:To accurately create an input chart for a simulation in a short time by inputting plural coordinate data, obtaining respective segments to link respective coordinates by an operation means, outputting the obtained segments, and inputting editing data for the respective output segments. CONSTITUTION:A timing diagram to be the creating base of input data is created using either a mouse 4a or a keyboard 4. A diagram table DT refers to the first leading edge information table LEIT. When the end of either the input of a leading edge or the creation of the leading edge is instructed, since the input of a paper size is requested, the paper size is inputted from the keyboard 4 in units of millimeters. Thus, the paper size is subtracted from each Y coordinate of each change point of the leading edge in a minicomputer system 8, the coordinates of each point of an obtained trailing edge are recorded in a main memory 2 in the format of the diagram table DT, and the segments of the trailing edge is displayed under an automatically added state based on the information of the trailing edge. |
