PURPOSE:To prevent a golf cart from running under its own weight by enabling a brake lever to be controlled to a brake release position from a brake position and setting an engine starting position before the brake release position. CONSTITUTION:A brake lever 25 performs operation of applying a brake, starting an engine and stopping it. The brake lever 25, in its brake position X, stops the engine. And the brake lever, which can be controlled from this brake position X to a brake release position Y, sets a starting position Z of the engine before this brake release position Y. Thus placing a golf cart in a brake applied condition when the engine is started, the golf cart is prevented from running under its own weight even when it is stopped on a slope. |
