PURPOSE:To manufacture a coil composed of an oxide superconductor efficiently and comparatively easily by ejecting superfines as the raw material of the oxide superconductor from a fine nozzle against the circumferential surface of a cylindrical base material heated and rotated and moved in a vacuum vessel and forming the coil. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical base material 4 of a cylinder rotatably mounted in a vacuum vessel 1 is heated to >=200 deg.C, the inside of the vacuum vessel 1 is evacuated, and the superfines of yttrium, copper or barium are ejected together with a carrier gas consisting of an inert gas or the mixed gas of the inert gas and oxygen gas from a fine nozzle 7 set up toward the surface of the base material 4. When the base material 4 is turned and shifted at the same time as the start of the ejection, ejected ultra-fine powder is sintered on the surface on the outside or the inside of the base material 4 to a fine wire shape, and the ultra-fine powder can be sintered in a coil shaped at arbitrary pitches and in arbitrary film thickness by controlling the rotational speed and speed of travel of superfines. Accordingly, an oxide superconductor coil can be formed easily. |
