<p>PURPOSE:To enable trimming with accuracy higher than conventional devices by automatic regulation by inclining at least one side in the longitudinal direction in the longitudinal direction in the plane shape of a resistor formed to an insulating substrate and shaping the resistance-value regulating groove of the resistor in approximately the longitudinal direction from an intermediate section on one side of the groove. CONSTITUTION:A resistance element 11 formed to an insulating substrate has conductor layers 13 at both end sections in the longitudinal direction of a film resistor 12. The other side 12b in the longitudinal direction is inclined in the longitudinal direction though one side 12a in the longitudinal direction runs in the longitudinal direction in the plane shape of the resistor 12, and the resistance value of the resistor 12 is coarsely adjusted by an L-shaped groove 14 from one side 12a, and finely adjusted by a groove 15 in the longitudinal direction of the resistor 12 from the intermediate section of the other side 12b. Since the groove 15 is directed in the longitudinal direction of the resistor 12, the change of the resistance value of the resistor 12 is made smaller than that of the groove 14. Accordingly, the resistance value of the resistor 12 can be regulated with the accuracy of + or -0.01% to a desired value.</p> |
