PURPOSE:To obtain a performer's desired musical tone variation in any musical performance method by bringing a characteristic of a musical tone whose sounding is started by a musical tone generating means or a musical tone which is sounding to variable control in accordance with pitch variation information which has been corrected by a pitch variation information correcting means. CONSTITUTION:In case when pitch variation information extracted from a pitch extracting means 2 has become a large value suddenly, that is, in case when a pitch frequency has been varied suddenly, a pitch variation information correcting means 3 changes the pitch variation information to '0' or an initial value so that a sudden variation does not occur. In this state, based on the pitch variation information which has been corrected, a musical tone control means 3 controls a characteristic of a musical tone whose sounding is started by a musical tone generating means 6 or a musical tone which is sounding, for instance, a tone color (In addition, a sound volume, and moreover, a sound pitch are applicable). In such a way, even in case when a pitch of a string has been varied suddenly, a smooth musical tone control can be executed, and a desired musical tone variation can be obtained. |
