PURPOSE:To reduce astringent taste and improve taste so as to suit drinker's taste by enclosing an active carbon in a porous nonwoven fabric or paper having water resistance. CONSTITUTION:An active carbon 1 having 0.15-1.6mm particle size, 30-100Angstrom pore radius and >=0.1ml/g pore volume is enclosed in a bag 2 formed from a porous nonwoven fabric or paper having water resistance. Then a yarn 3 having a paper piece provided at other end is attached to the bag 2 to prepare a taste improving bag for beverage. As necessary, the taste-improving bag is dipped in a beverage (e.g., coffee) or when coffee, black tea and green tea, etc., is extracted, the beverage is passed through taste-improving bag and extracted and astringent taste or tar based coloring matter, etc., is absorbed in the active carbon to prepare a delicious beverage. |
