PURPOSE:To suppress the communication charge of document data from a transmitting side to a transmission destination device of the document data to low by curtailing data quantity of the document data down to extent that the communication charge reaches a desired charge when the communication charge is higher than the desired charge. CONSTITUTION:For instance, in a case that a calculated estimated communication charge is extremely higher than the desired communication charge, after instructing the 'change' of a system indicating area 34A by the prescribed operation of a mouse, the 'data quantity' item of an attribute indicating area 34A is instructed, and the data quantity of the document data is curtailed further. Then, an operator corrects a corresponding spot by instructing the spot of an attribute item desired to change by the prescribed operation of the mouse until a transmitting optimum condition indicated on the attribute indicating area 34B meets a desired condition. Further, when the transmitting optimum condition meets the desired condition, he instructs the 'transmission' of the system indicating area 34A by the prescribed operation of the mouse. Thus, the communication charge of the document data can be restrained to low.
