PURPOSE:To reduce the number of PROM chips which performs a computation for compensation by computing a true value which us to be measured with a sensor by a higher-order polynomial based on coefficients of terms in a higher- order polynomial computed and a sensor output. CONSTITUTION:When an address '1' is generated from an address generator 6 which is made up of a first arithmetic circuit comprising an A/D converter 4 and a latch circuit 5 and a second arithmetic means comprising PROMs 21-27, an output V of a pressure sensor 2-1 is selected with a multiplexer 3 and a computation for compensation is performed for a pressure sensor output V with the PROM 21-27 according to an address determined by a temperature sensor output T latched with a latch circuit 5, an output V of a pressure sensor 2-1 and a number of the pressure sensor. The results subjected to an arithmetic processing according to P=f(V,T) are outputted as pressure signal P from the PROM 27 thereby enabling the curtailment of the number of PROMs to seven from 256 in the prior art. |
