A torsion-damping device, particularly for a clutch, of the kind comprising two coaxial parts (15, 16) mounted with the possibility of a limited degree of rotation relative to each other, a first part comprising two substantially parallel annular flanges (19, 20) and a second part comprising at least one plate (38, 39) disposed axially between the two flanges, and springs (18) disposed substantially circumferentially between pedestals (24) mounted on one of the parts, each pedestal comprising first engagement means cooperating with complementary engagement means on one of the parts to define between them at least one first rotary bearing zone, and second engagement means cooperating with complementary engagement means on the other part to define between them at least one second rotary bearing zone, characterized in that at least one of the said coaxial parts and/or the said pedestals is provided with or forms elements made of damping material (68, 75, 79, 81), for example of elastomeric material, caoutchouc or the like, disposed at least in the vicinity of the aforementioned engagement means, for damping impacts between the said pedestals and the said coaxial parts. |
