PURPOSE:To obtain the subject anion exchange membrane suitable as a permeable membrane for electrolysis, etc., by reacting a film comprising a polymer having a specific structure with a specific substance, a sodium compound solution and then a specific mixed system. CONSTITUTION:A film comprising a polymer substance having a structure shown by formula I (X is F or CF3; l is 0-5; m is 0 or 1; n is 1-5; p and q are positive integers and the ratio of p/q is 2-16) is reacted with a compound (e. g., compound shown by formula III) shown by formula II (r and s are 1-8; R1 is H or 1-4C alkyl; R2 is 1-4C alkyl; R3 and R4 are 1-6C alkyl), a soidum compound solution (e.g., mixed system of aqueous solution of alkali metal hydroxide and alcohol) and then with a mixed system of dimethyl sulfoxide and an alkyl iodide to give the aimed anion exchange membrane. |
