<p>PURPOSE:To improve operability by providing a guide member at a lower half, and mounting either an adapter holding a large or a small tape cassette on a tape driving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When the adapter is moved leftward, a gear 28 is rotated in a clockwise direction, and a magnetic tape 34 is drawn out from the small cassette 33 by draw-out pins 30 and 32 on turning arms 29 and 31. And the tape 34 is drawn out so as to be nearly equal to the tape feed path of the large cassette. Also, the adapter can be formed separable into an upper half and the lower half at a position where a draw-out operation can be performed. At the lower half, the guide member 51 confronts with one side plane 33a of the cassette 33, and the cassette 33 is guided so as to be mounted at the position. Afterwards, the tape driving mechanism on which the cassette 33 is mounted is moved rightward, and is stopped oppositely to an insertion opening, then, the cassette 33 is inserted, thereby, the operability can be improved. At this time, an inserted cassette is held with a corresponding holder classified by the large or the small cassette.</p> |
