PURPOSE: To obtain a vasoformation inhibitive collagen metabolism controller that prevents vasoformation in mammals and effectively cures and prevents a disease that progresses by vasoformation, by administration of a collagen stroma metabolism controller together with a vasoformation inhibitive compound. CONSTITUTION: This vasoformation inhibitive collagen metabolism controller comprises (A) a collagen stroma metabolism controller, for example, a proline homologue that inhibits hydroxylation of proline when substituted for proline (e.g. L-azetidine-2-carboxylic acid), a proline hydroxylase inhibitor (e.g.β- aminopropionitrile, and full transletinoic acid, and (B) a vasoformation inhibitive compound, for example, vasoformation inhibitive steroid (e.g. cortisone), heparin, or hexasaccharide, so that both types of compounds are simultaneously administered. The component A is administered in concentration within a range of 100-250mg/g of body weight/day depending on the duration of its effect and administration route. |
