<p>PURPOSE:To improve work efficiency of a robot by exchanging machining means for machining a car body panel and panel retaining means for conveying a car body panel to a robot comparatively in a short time. CONSTITUTION:An arm portion 20b of a robot 20 is turned to a position Ra an engaging portion 20C mounted at the forward end thereof is positioned in a welding gun holding portion 24 and a welding gun 23 held in the welding gun holding portion 24 is installed thereon. After the completion of welding, the arm portion 20b of the robot 20 is returned to the position Ra, and the engaging portion 20C mounted at the forward end thereof is released from the engagement with the welding gun 23. Subsequently, the arm portion 20b of the robot 20 is moved to a position Rb, and panel holding means 25 are installed at the forward end thereof. A panel is held by the panel holding means 25 and conveyed to a panel transfer portion 29.</p> |
