PURPOSE:To enhance safety, to also shorten a stop time, to reduce the mechanical dimension of a brake and to lower cost by a method wherein an electromotor is subjected to braking control by a speed control current when an abnormal state is detected and a dynamic brake is adapted after a predetermined delay time. CONSTITUTION:It is detected that a safety door 1 is opened by an operator during usual mold opening and clamping operation, by a limit switch 2 and the detection signal of said switch 2 is outputted to the MPU 4 in a control part 3 and the delay timer 5 of a delay timer part 13 and the MPU 4 immediately outputs a stop order signal to a servo amplifier 7. The timer 5 also starts the measurement of a time at the same time to bring a servo motor 8 to a decelerated state. When the delay timer 5 stops the measurement of a definite time, said delay timer 5 outputs a contact change-over order to a contact driving circuit 6 and the servo motor 8 is cut off from the servo amplifier 7 to be changed over to the braking due to a dynamic brake unit 11 and decelerated to be stopped in a safe state regardless of the operation of the MPU 4. |
