PURPOSE:To improve the wetting of an insert part with a polymer, to enhance close adhesiveness and to eliminate positional shift, a crack and the leakage of gas or a liquid by preliminarily holding the insert part under heating before performing insert molding. CONSTITUTION:A thermotropic liquid crystal is composed of a (co)polymer containing at least a monomer unit represented by formula and the material inserted in said polymer is mainly composed of an inorg. solid such as a metal, for example, aluminum, copper, iron, brass or an alloy thereof, ceramics or the like and preliminarily molded into a part such as a rod, a pin or a screw before use. The insert part is directly heated or indirectly heated through a heating medium to set the surface temp. thereof to 100-400 deg.C, pref. to 200-350 deg.C at the point of time when a resin is allowed to fill. |
