<p>PURPOSE:To purify molten metal by horizontally rotating the molten metal to centrifugally separate a nonmetallic inclusion, and separating the flocculated and coarsened inclusion by flotation in a flotation tank directly connected. CONSTITUTION:Molten metal is introduced from the molten metal inflow port 4 of a circulation vessel 11. The introduced molten metal is rotated by a revolving magnetic field generator 2, and the inclusion is removed. The molten metal is then introduced into the flotation tank 12 having an overflow weir 3. The nonmetallic inclusion is floated and separated by the gas, etc., from a blowing nozzle provided at the lower part or lower side part.</p> |
