The invention refers to a device for pitch and swing gyroscopic stabilization of the input (end) flat mirror of an optical sight, which is mounted on motor vehicles, aircrafts or ships. The gyroscopic element of this stabilization device consists of a gyro motor, the main pivot of which is located in the sighting direction and is equipped with two gimbal suspension frames. The rotation motion (azimuth) of the gyroscopic element is sent, through an automatic control system, to an outer gimbal support. The pitch rotation bearings of an inner gimbal support of the gyroscopic element and those of the input flat mirror of the optical sight are mounted on the outer gimbal support. Through another automatic control system, the gyroscopic element sends the pitch movement to the inner gimbal and the sight flat mirror. The combined action of the two automatic control systems results in the stabilization of the sighting direction and maintenance of gimbal suspension frames in a perpendicular position to each other.
