<p>PURPOSE:To improve operability by incorporating a small tape cassette by holding a large tape cassette after inserting from an insertion opening, and guiding the small tape cassette to a holder via a guide means. CONSTITUTION:When a standard tape cassette 45 is inserted to a cassette insertion opening 3 as shown in chain line, a switch is turned ON, and a driving arm 13 is turned in a counterclockwise direction by a driving motor, and arrives at a position shown in dotted line, and a cassette holder 7 is moved slidably by being guided by grooves 10 and 11, and the tape cassette 45 held by the cassette holder 7 is mounted on a tape driving mechanism 4. When a switch for the small tape cassette is depressed, the motor is rotated so as to move the cassette holder 7 to an intermediate position. A pinion 16 is rotated in a counterclockwise direction, and the elevator 18, the upper half 21 of an adapter 20 is raised via a rack 17. Simultaneously, the lower half 27 is also raised via a pinion 24. Thus, it is possible to easily perform the insertion and the ejection of a small cassette holder 42 through the insertion opening via a guide member 51.</p> |
