<p>PURPOSE:To display arbitrary message letters on a message panel for a following car and enable this panel to be used as a stop lamp by using a liquid crystal panel with a colour polarizing plate as the panel message for the following car and using fluorescent lamps having different luminous wavelength band as illuminations for message display and for stop. CONSTITUTION:In a liquid crystal panel 1 where a glass plate with a transference electrode and a red polarizing plate are respectively affixed on both surfaces of TN type liquid crystal, arbitrary letters and a string of symbols are input and processed in a switch box 6 and a control circuit 5 so as to light fluorescent lamps 3a, 3b for message display. These lights are made clear or opaque in dot unit by shutter operation of the liquid crystal so as to display letters by the colour wave lengths of fluorescent lamps 3a, 3b for display. During brake operation, fluorescent lamp 4 of red lighting for stop lamp is lighted by a signal from a connector 7. In this case, the colour wave length of the fluorescent lamp 4 for stop lamp lights the whole surface of the panel, after transmitting the liquid crystal panel 1 with effect of the colour polarizing plate.</p> |
