A window sash is pivoted along its lower edge by a groove 15 in the sash engaging an iron or steel tube 8 screwed to the lower member 6 of the fixed frame by screws 9 projecting outwardly from the tube bore. U-shaped brackets 16 passing round the tube are fixed to the sash by bolts 18 engaging nuts 22 on a securing plate 19. The window can be pivoted to a variety of different positions and clamped by a screw (27 Fig. 1 not shown) engaging a slotted member 26 (not shown). |
