The device for adjustable positioning, vertically and horizontally, of modular furniture units, which are suspended and of the type to be assembled, comprises a plurality of quadrangular metal profiles 1 open on one side and provided with pins 5, 5a for attachment to a support wall, and with equidistant elongate slots 3, 3a, 3b intended to receive, by engagement, the hooks projecting from the back of the furniture units to be suspended, placed side by side or stacked. A continuous element 11, in the form of a channel with a continuous covering 13 mounted by a catch mechanism, is capable of permitting the passage of electricity cables and the desired positioning of electric sockets, switches or the like. Application to a modular furniture unit comprising easily removable electrical circuits. <IMAGE>
