A soldering or unsoldering set has a handle secured by fastening means to an elongated heating element having a soldering or unsoldering tip at its free end. The longitudinal axis of the heating element and of the soldering or unsoldering tip makes an angle with the longitudinal axis of the handle, and the fastening means comprise swivelling devices for adjusting the angle between the longitudinal axes of the handle (1) and the soldering tip (2). An elongated intermediate piece (5) is arranged between the swivelling devices and the fastening end of the heating element, the longitudinal axis of which makes a predetermined angle with the longitudinal axis of the heating element and hence with that of the soldering or unsoldering tip. The swivelling devices can thereby be set to a swivelling position in which they form a U- or V-shape such that the soldering tip is located in the vicinity of the junction between the handle (1) and the swivelling devices (3).
