Hole punch, especially office hole punch

The hole punch, which can be used especially as an office hole punch, also called simply a punch, possesses only one punching ram with drive and restoring spring. Its housing consists of a single piece of profiled strip. It can be pushed onto a rail (200), displaced as desired thereon and fixed. The rail is provided with various scales whereby the paper and the hole punch are to be aligned. With the aid of the scales, all hole configurations of the formats of the paper standards allowed for on the scales and non-standardised configurations of holes of any desired number and spacing can be produced. The scales are designed so that, optionally, either the hole punch or the paper has to change position after each individual perforation for the next perforation. A plurality of hole punches and positioning aids (300, 400) for the paper can be pushed onto the rail. The system is capable of expansion and being dismantled as desired and can be adapted for the various requirements as regards comfort, accuracy and speed of perforation on the one hand and convenience for travelling on the other. <IMAGE>
