A nozzle (10) for a gas-operated spraying apparatus, the nozzle (10) being tapered at an outlet end and having a passage therethrough wherethrough, in use, a medium to be sprayed may flow to the outlet under the control of a retractable needle (28) of circular cross-section extending substantially coaxially of the passage and of the nozzle, the outlet (24) forming a seal with the needle (28) in a rest position thereof, and in which the outlet (24) is of non-circular form, the nozzle (10) being formed of a material deformable by the needle to form the seal. |
