In the case of roofings of this type, there is a need to be able to open the covering in the event of good weather. For this, roofings with displaceable covering elements are already known. These, however, have the disadvantage that, for a friction-free displaceability, they are of a correspondingly stable design and exhibit guide rails which are connected to the displacement mechanism. This invention provides simple, lightweight covering elements for opening roofings of the type claimed. The roofing according to the invention is distinguished by covering elements (29) which are stabilised, in terms of statics, by the load-bearing structure (25) and can be pivoted up in order to open the roofing. The roofing according to the invention serves, in particular, for covering leisure facilities, in particular swimming pools, playing fields, playgrounds or leisure parks. <IMAGE>
