<p>PURPOSE:To heat and burn combustible substances in air efficiently by leading a polluted air to a packing cylinder which is filled with ceramic grains and kept at high temperature only in the center part of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A packing cylinder 1 is filled with ceramic grains 2, an electric heater 3 is placed in the center of the cylinder, a four-way selector valve 4 and both ends of the cylinder are connected with ducts 7, 8. An inlet 5 of the selector valve 4 is an inlet of a polluted air, and cleaned air is discharged from an outlet 6. After passing the duct 7, the polluted air is introduced to the cylinder when the center part is heated to a prescribed temperature by the electric heater 3. Combustible substances in the polluted air are burned in the center part 9. Air heated to high temperature is absorbed in the ceramic grains 2, and after cooled to a prescribed temperature, the air is discharged from the duct 8. When the temperature of the air elevates higher than a set value, a sensor 11 detects that and switches the four-way selector valve.</p> |
