<p>PURPOSE:To shorten an exchange time of a tool magazine, by a method wherein a fundamental tool used commonly to kinds of works is stored in a fundamental tool magazine and special tools used according to a kind of a work are stored in a special tool magazine, and only the special tool magazine is exchanged. CONSTITUTION:A fundamental tool file 9 situated to a central control device CPU 1 to manage a numerical control device stores information on a common tool used commonly to all works, and a using tool file 10 stores a list of special tools needed for machining according to a kind of a work. A present containing tool file 11 stores a special tool magazine under the use at a present and data on special tools in each special tool magazine under waiting. Common tools used commonly to kinds of works are stored in a fundamental tool magazine, special tools are stored in a special tool magazine according to a kind of a work, and when parts to be machined are different from each other, only the special tool magazine is exchanged.</p> |
