PURPOSE:To facilitate handling as well as to contrive improvement both in productivity and magnetic characteristics by a method wherein, after the bonding agent having both ultraviolet-ray hardening and heat-hardening properties and rare-earth magnet powder has been formed into kneaded form, ultraviolet rays are projected thereon, and then it is heated. CONSTITUTION:A bonding agent, having the viscosity of 100-25000cps(centipoise) and possessing both ultraviolet ray hardening and heat-hardening properties, of 6wt.% or less against rare-earth magnet powder is added to the rare-earth magnet powder, and they are integrally molded. The surface of the molded body is hardened by projecting ultraviolet rays thereon, and then the internal part of the molded body is hardened by heating. Said rare-earth magnet powder is the powder mainly composed of R-TM, R-TM-B and the like such as RTM5 (provided that R contains one or two or more kinds of rare-earth elements such as Sm, Ce, Pr, Nd and the like containing Y, TM contains one or two or more kinds of transition metal elements such as Fe, Co, Ni and the like, and B is a boron element) and the like shown by RTM5, R2TM17, R15TM77B8 and the like for example. As a result, the simplification of handling and improvement in both productivity and magnetic characteristics can be achieved. |
