Method and device for the testing of a technical (industrial) body

Computer tomography is applied in the testing of the technical (industrial) body. In this case, a radiation source and an associated sensor are rotated together about the technical body and displaced perpendicular to the direction of rotation. The radiation source and the sensor are on a carrier which can be closed around the technical body to be tested and can be fastened to the latter. The preferred field of application relates to the testing of welded plastic pipes.
