The invention relates to a gas-soldering bit, essentially consisting of a torch which delivers a controllable flame and to the hand piece of which the bit acted upon directly by the flame is fastened. In order to design a soldering bit of this type in such a way that it can be optimally adapted to the respective conditions during the soldering, in which arrangement the actual bit and the wind guard for the torch flame are to be as compact as possible, it is proposed according to the invention that the bit (1) be of two-piece design and that it consist of a tubular section (1a) and a copper insert (1b) releasably fastened to the bottom end of the tubular section (1a), the tubular section (1a) being closed and having on opposite sides of its circumference between the top and bottom end one opening (2, 3) each for the admission and discharge of the torch flame and also being provided in the interior with a baffle (4) which is arranged transversely to the flame, starts at the top end of the tubular section (1a) and ends at a distance from the copper insert (1b) sitting in the bottom end. <IMAGE>
