PURPOSE:To allow a user to confirm that the date or day of the week changes periodically and continuously at a high speed by repeating plural display patterns at a specific period as a display of the date or day of the week. CONSTITUTION:The number of date data 39 is increased by pressing the +-side part of a date and day-of-the-week key 31 and to increase the number in data 39 a carry in day, month, and year order needs to be made, so it takes a long time. Display timing is set four times within a 180msec time for counting one month according to the restrictions of a microcomputer in use and seven kinds of segment patterns are displayed continuously on a day display part 42 at intervals of 45msec to makes a continuous display at a high speed as if 1st-30th days were displayed. For the day of the week, seven kinds of day-of-the-week patterns are displayed on a day-of-the-week display part 29 and viewed as if they changed periodically and continuously at a high speed. The date and day of the week are changed by changing the segment patterns and day-of- the-week patterns, so there is no numerical processing and the microcomputer can perform other processes. |
