One of the two bodies (1, 2) is provided with a conical depression (4a) which exhibits an internal thread (6) and into which there may be screwed a cone (3) which is arranged on the other body (1) and has an external thread. In known connections with a thread base which is rounded off in the form of an arc of a circle, there is a concentration of stresses in the lowermost part. A reduction in the maximum stressing can be achieved in that, in the case of the invention, the profile of the thread base is configured such that the curvature in the lowermost part (11) is at its smallest and increases with respect to the higher parts of the adjacent, load-bearing thread flank (12).
