TOFU AND VESSEL FOR RECEIVING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide TOFU (soybean curd) having an interesting appearance and an excellent commercial value by having an uneven pattern portion on the upper surface thereof and further having a bank portion higher than an inside portion just near therefrom and continued in the peripheral direction near the peripheral edge portion of the upper surface. CONSTITUTION:A soybean milk is filled in a vessel 32 provided with an uneven surface on the inside surface thereof to form TOFU having an interesting appearance and an improved commercial value. The formed TOFU has a projected pattern 12 and a depressed pattern 16 on the upper surface thereof and has a bank portion 14 higher than a just near inside portion and continued at least in the peripheral direction at least near the peripheral edge portion of the upper surface.
