PURPOSE: To deliver fluid at a desired fluid delivery rate by actuating a pump control means in an operation cycle and repeating the actuation in a predetermined period of time, in response to a signal showing the desired fluid delivery rate. CONSTITUTION: A nutation pump comprises a rotor 18, magnets 44, 46, 48, a magnet sensor 34, and a pump control means for repeating actuation in a predetermined period of time before a rotor 18 comes to a position where the magnet 46 and the magnet sensor 34 approach to each other, in response to a signal showing the desired fluid delivery rate and the magnet sensor 34. Thus, it is possible to actuate the pump control means in an operation cycle and repeat the actuation of the pump control means in a period of time selected in accordance with the desired fluid delivery rate, therefore fluid can be delivered at a desired fluid delivery rate.
