REMOTE CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DIESEL ENGINE

PURPOSE:To prevent interference and improve safety by providing a pulse code modulation radio controller of a receiver in a Diesel engine to remote control this radio controller wirelessly with a transmitter. CONSTITUTION:When an operator carries a transmitter 21 and turns on a proper switch in a control unit 27, pulse coded electric waves are transmitted and a computer 37 in a receiver reads electric wave codes received by a receiving unit 33 to output the control signal to a relay unit 35 so that a relay in the relay unit 35 is turned on according to the turned-on switch in the control unit 27 in the transmitter 21. The relay in the relay unit 35 responds operatively to individual switches respectively in the control unit 27 of the transmitter 21 so that power electric current is sent to individual assigned circuits to operate respective units. A relay C in the relay unit 35 for example turns on a starter relay 43 to drive a starter, while current does not flow so long as a parking sensor 51, neutral sensor 53 and a cabin-tilt sensor 55 are all not turned ON.
