PURPOSE:To obtain a polar relay of a stable double-stable operation by positioning and fixing a yoke and a permanent magnet which are component parts of a magnetic circuit in a single coil frame. CONSTITUTION:By applying a current to a coil 4 from one direction, an armature 7 is slided, the other end 7a of the armature 7 is separated from the other magnetic pole surface 1c of a yoke 1, and at the same time, a movable contact 9 at the opposite side of the movable contact spring 8 is separated from the other side fixed contact 11. Even though the current flow to the coil 4 is stopped in this case, the armature 7 is maintained in the same condition by a magnetic flux generated from a permanent magnet 2 and passing through a closed magnetic route, one end 7a of the armature 7 one magnetic pole 1b of the yoke 1 the permanent magnet 2. Then, by converting the current applying direction to the coil 4, the armature 7 is slided again in the reverse side, the other side movable contact 9 is contacted to the other side fixed contact 11, and the same condition is maintained in the same way even though the current is stopped. Consequently, the stable double-stable operation of a good magnetic efficiency can be obtained. |
