PURPOSE:To adjust the relative positions of a first image pickup element and a second image pickup element with a simple circuit by providing a differential circuit to which the output signal of a level adjusting circuit and the output signal of the second image pickup element are supplied. CONSTITUTION:An adjusting means to adjust the relative positions of a first image pickup element 3 for a chrominance signal and a second image pickup element 5 for a luminance signal, level adjusting circuits 11 and 12 to separate the output signal of the first image pickup element 3 into the output signals of respective colors, respectively level-adjust the respective separated chrominance signals, and after that synthesize the respective chrominance signals, and a differential circuit 15 to which the output signals of the level adjusting circuits 11 and 12 and the output signal of the second image pickup element 5 are supplied are provided for the title device. Consequently, for example, when a monochromatic picture is image-picked up, while the level of the level-adjusted output signal obtained from the first image pickup element 3 and the level of the output signal of the second image pickup element 5 become equal essentially, the respective phases of the two output signals are different according to the relative positions of the two image pickup elements, and a differential output becomes zero when an registration matches. Thus, adjusting work becomes easier, and the circuit consitution can be simplified. |
