摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the close adhesion of a heater and a thermion emitting body by forming a high melting point of metal powder sintered body selected from a specific metal group on the surface of a high melting point of metal wire selected from the same group, and impregnating lanthan hexaboride powder at the clearances of the sintered bodies. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a high melting point of metal wires selected from the group of tungsten (W) and tantalum (Ta), a high melting point of metal powder sintered bodies selected from the same group are formed, and in the clearances of them, thermion emitting bodies 19 impregnating lanthan hexaboride powder are arranged. As a result, the thermion emitting temperature is lowered to 1750 deg.K (lanthan hexaboride), and moreover, a tungsten carbide layer (W2C) is formed making the activation process unnecessary. And since the lanthan hexaboride is impregneted in the high melting point of metal sintered bodies 13, thermion emitting bodies 19 of a good adhesive property can be obtained.
