PURPOSE:To respectively and separately execute color conversion for all the parts of picture data except an outline part and that for the outline part by equipping the title device with a converting means to convert the color of an input picture into a designated color according to the combination of the detected result of a first detecting means and that of a second detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A CPU100 stores data necessary at the time of color decision and the color conversion through an I/O port 103 into the plural registers of a color deciding and color converting circuit 105 according to a control program stored in a ROM101. Further, an area generating circuit 104 generates an area signal 111 based on a coordinate value inputted from a digitizer 106 and outputs the generated area signal 111 to the color deciding and color converting circuit 105. Namely, the prescribed color part of the input picture is detected, the outline part of the prescribed color part is detected, and the color of the input picture is converted into the designated color according to the combination of these detected results. Thus, the color conversion for the outline part of the picture data, the color conversion for all the parts of the picture data except the outline part, further, the color conversion for an area, for which prescribed color conversion is to be executed, etc., can be executed separately. |
