PURPOSE:To carry out photographing using a flash gun with high operability and at the timing as a photographer intends by changing an activating switch turned on in photographing into an operating means for switching a flash device to an operable state. CONSTITUTION:The title camera is provided with a control means which operates an operational mechanism for switching the flash gun 7 to two states in response to the turning-on of the activating switch 12 switching an operation inhibiting or permitting state so that when the switch is turned on, the flash gun 7 is switched to an operable state where its flash part 7A projects from a flash main body 7B. To activate the camera, the activating switch 12 to be operated surely is always used as a tool for switching the state of the flash gun 7. Thus, required operation is never omitted and photographing by flashing the flash gun 7 can be performed without missing a shutter chance. |
