<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the effect of the operating pulsation wave of a pressure pump on a cuff and to realize the rapid measurement of blood pressure, by connecting the cuff and the pressure pump by two or more air pipes and mounting an air flow control member to each of the air pipes and arranging an opening and closing valve to one air pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a cuff is wound around the upper arm of an examinee and a start switch is turned ON, a pressure pump 2 is operated by the order of a CPU through a pump driving circuit 21 and a quick exhaust valve 18 is closed through a quick exhaust value driving circuit 19 and the opening and closing valve 7 of an air pipe 5a is opened. Compressed air is sent out to the cuff 1 through two air pipes 5, 5a (air flow control members 6, 6a) and quick pressurization is performed in such a state that the effect of the operating pulsation wave of the pressure pump 2 is removed. The change of the pressure applied to the cuff 1 is detected by a pressure sensor 15 and the CPU 3 closes the opening and closing valve 7 of the air pipe 5a when the pressure of the cuff 1 reaches predetermined pressure and only compressed air is sent out only from the air pipe 5. Thereafter, not only gentle pressurization but also measurement of pressure are continued.</p> |
