PURPOSE:To lower the cost, ensure the predetermined fixing strength and simultaneously protect the edge of an engaging object by forming a male unit for engagement where a part of ferromagnetic plate facing to the inside of engaging object is protruded as the engaging segment through the punching toward the external side of fitting surface and the end point of engaging segment is abutting or is magnetically attracted to the plate surface. CONSTITUTION:In the female unit (b) of an engagement device, a ferromagnetic plate 2 which is wider than a magnet 1 is magnetically attracted to the one pole surface of square or rectangular magnet 1, it is fixed with a cover having a gap 3a, a hole 3b for engagement is opened above the gap 3a and simultaneously position of the magnet 1 is restricted by a vertical edge collar 3c. In a male unit (a) provided for such a female unit (b), a sheet of ferromagnetic plate 6a is bent in the direction opposing to the magnetically attracting surface and an engaging object (c) is fixed to this part. A punched engaging segment 6b is protruded in order to catch an engaging object (c). A part of plate 6 is punched so that it is protruded toward the external side of fitting surface as the punched engaging protrusion 6c. |
