PURPOSE:To sense off the water mixing in a bearing surely by sensing the bearing oil film pressure between a rotor and a thrust bearing, and by comparing it with normal pressure sensing waveform. CONSTITUTION:A hole is bored in the center of a thrust bearing and led to the side thereof, and further to a pressure sensor 10 via a sensor mounting jig 11. This pressure sensor 10 is composed of sensor elements 10a, 10b, 10c mounted on three of the six thrust bearings 4, situated every other positions. The magnitude of the effective value X of the sensed pressure sensing waveforms e, f is compared in a level sensor 14 with the effective value Xg when no water is mixed, and a lamp B as ''bad'' is lit at a judgement and display part 19 if Xg<X. |
